About Integrative Medicine

What exactly is the method of Integrative medicine?

Integrative medicine is an approach to medicine that focuses on finding and treating the root cause of disease, not just relieving symptoms. It is based on the understanding that each person is biochemically unique and that their health requires a customized, holistic approach.

Some key characteristics of integrative medicine include:

  • Holistic approach: Integrative medicine treats the body as a whole, studies the connections between different body systems and how they affect the health of the individual.

  • Individualized treatment: Treatment is tailored to the individual based on their unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors.

  • Focus on the Root Cause: Instead of focusing only on symptoms, integrative medicine looks for the root cause of disease, such as nutritional deficiencies, toxins, infections, stress, and genetics.

  • The emphasis is on prevention: A large part of Integrative medicine is the prevention of disease through a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet, regular physical activity and stress management.

Use of advanced diagnostics: integrative medicine uses a wide range of diagnostic tests to assess the functioning of the body's systems and detect potential imbalances. The goal of Integrative medicine is to restore optimal body function and improve the patient's overall health and well-being through customized, sustainable changes in lifestyle and diet.

Why does it work?

It is necessary to understand that the body constantly strives for the correct balance. Organs and glands play a key role in maintaining balance. They need the right amount of nutrients and heat to function properly. If the balance of the body is disturbed, we can get sick. Symptoms are signs of illness caused by a physical imbalance in the body. When the natural balance in the body is disturbed, the body temperature rises or falls.

A deviation in body temperature indicates the cause of the symptoms. The body is a natural organism that recognizes and accepts only minerals and other components of natural origin. Synthetic ingredients are not recognized or understood by the body, therefore all synthetic ingredients irritate the defense mechanism and thus create unwanted effects.
By measuring the body temperature at strategic points of the body, it is possible to determine which nutrients the body lacks and which are in excess, causing an imbalance.

By offering the body the missing nutrients or removing the excess, we correct the balance in the body and increase its natural resistance. This allows the body to heal in a natural and permanent way.
